The Toughpower PF1 Platinum Series comes in 850W/750W/650W and offers 80 PLUS Platinum efficiency. Besides the basic features listed, the PF1 Platinum Series has two more critical features: compact size and our new board technology. With a small footprint of 140 mm (D) x 86 mm (H) x 150 mm (L), the PF1 boasts ample room for cable management. The new board technology offers single-sided SMD where all IC chips are set on one side only, allowing heat to accumulate on one side only, so the entire board can be covered and cooled by the 120mm ultra-quiet Hydraulic Bearing Fan.

New Board Technology Offering Single-Sided SMD

The new design of the PCB allows all SMDs to sit on the top side of the PSUs' PCB. This design not only prevents heat build-up at the bottom of the PSU, but also keeps the temperature of the PSU low by allowing cold air to pass through with the 120 mm Hydraulic Bearing Fan covering the entire set of components.
